Rotary District Governor visits Ctg Aristocrat Rotary Club

The official club visit of Rotary District Governor and Rotary Club of Chittagong Aristocrat was held at the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Officers Club in the port city recently.

Governor Engineer Muhammad Matiur Rahman, the club President Rotarian Sadman Syka Sefa, Secretary Rotarian Md Shamim Reza and President-Elect Rotarian SM Muhibur Rahman visited the club as per the rules.

During the visit, they exchanged views on the club's significant projects for the 2023-2024 Rota year, rules and other issues.

Later, District First Lady Samina Islam, District General Secretary PP Mohammad Akbar Hossain, District Executive Secretary Shamsul Alam, President-Elect Rotarian SM Mohibur Rahman, IPP Rotarian Dr Joynal Abedin Muhuri, CP Rotarian Mostafa Ashraful Islam Alvi, Past President Rotarian Dr Kamrul Hossain, Past President Rotarian Advocate Zubair Hussain Shiblu, Past President Rotarian Architect Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Past President Rotarian Engineer Mohammad Imran, Past President Rotarian Md. Manowarul Haque FCMA, club Rotarians and other guests participated in the club's general meeting.

Club President Rotarian Sadman Syka Sefa delivered the welcome speech and made a humble request to the District Governor to conduct the assembly meeting.

The District Governor in his speech asked the president to give an update on the progress of the club.

The District Governor directed the Rotary Club of Chittagong Aristocrat to work together with local clubs to undertake various initiatives for the underprivileged children of Chattogram and provide immunization to female children.

Club Rotarian Noman Bin Zahir Uddin sought cooperation from everyone to make the upcoming signature project career fest successful and talked about various initiatives.

Later, the club president highlighted various projects of the club including ‘Home for homeless people,’ ‘Book distribution to schools and libraries,’ ‘Quran distribution to mosques and madrashas,’ ‘Safety awareness program to school and college going students’ and ‘Water filter distribution to educational institutions.’

The District Governor gifted pin to the club president, secretary and appreciated the club president for her outstanding performance.

Finally, the chartered president of the club Mustafa Ashraful Islam Alvi and the president of the club thanked everyone for attending.
