NU VC meets academicians and civil society representatives in Kolkata

National University (NU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Mashiur Rahman held a discussion meeting with the academicians and civil society representatives in Kolkata, India.
In the meeting, various issues including development of inter-relationship, research, education and cultural exchange between NU and Indian Universities were discussed, a press release said.
On July 3, he traveled to Kolkata on the invitation of Bangla World Wide, the world's only international platform for Bengali.
Moshiur Rahman said that it is essential to continue the exchange of teachers and students between Bangladesh and India to increase the quality of science education, ICT training and academic curriculum.
The vice-chancellor emphasized that the initiation and strength of the eastern region's own education should be practiced more vigorously. He said, through this, the region's own strength, culture and culture will be developed beyond the long-standing dependence on western education. The VC feels that it needs to be expanded further due to our own existence.
Former VC of Rabindra Bharati University of India and Presidium member of Bangla World Wide Professor Pabitra Sarkar, West Bengal State University Ex-VC Professor Ashok Ranjan, Netaji Open University Ex-VC Professor Monimala Das, among others, were present in the meeting.
