A biker and his pillion rider were killed when a bus hit their motorcycle in Baniachara area of Cox’s Bazar’s Chakaria upazila on Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred at around 10 am today on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway.
Imran Chowdhury, of Chiringa Highway Police Station, said a Cox’s Bazar-bound bus of Greenline Paribahan hit the motorcycle and left the two dead on the spot.
Police seized the bus, the driver fled the scene.
Legal proceedings are underway, he said.
