A total lunar eclipse will occur on Monday (May 16, 2022), said a press release issued by the National Science and Technology Museum.
People of southwestern Europe, southwestern Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Atlantic and Antarctica belts will be able to witness beauty of the eclipse.
Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of National Science and Technology Museum, said the eclipse will start at 9:29am and continue till 10:53am.
The people of Bangladesh are unlikely to see the eclipse for occurring during the daytime, he added.
