Price of mango increases ahead of Pohela Boishakh

The country is going to celebrate Pohela Boishakh after five days. Focusing on the Bengali festival, the price of mango has increased.

In this season, mango are available in the markets. People are getting mango everywhere including vegetable shops and various kitchen markets in the capital.

Consumers are using mango in making pickles, sauces, juice or cooking mango with dal. As a result, the demand of mango has increased. So, the price has increased.

Sources said, two types of mango guti aam (small mango) and Burmese mango are available in Kawran Bazar. The small mango is being sold at Tk 100 while Burmese at Tk 100-130.
