Like any common man put in jail for the first time, superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is facing difficulties in adapting to the conditions and food provided inside the prison.

Aryan and others are lodged in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail in connection with the alleged seizure of drugs from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast by the Narcotics Control Bureau.

According to some reports, the starkid is not taking the jail food and only consuming biscuits and drinking water purchased from the jail canteen.

He took 12 bottles of water with him and is left with a few now. His friends are also not eating the food and hence their condition is also not good.

Reports also state that, until the court grants permission Aryan will not be allowed home cooked food and will have to eat the food served to all the inmates in Arthur road jail.

The jail food has sheera-poha for breakfast, while lunch and dinner include chapati, sabzi, dal and rice.

On the other hand Aryan's parents, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, have been having sleepless nights ever since their 23-year-old son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the infamous drug case.

The star couple are staying away from the media glare and are avoiding stepping out of their lavish house Mannat.

Now, according to a report in an entertainment portal, Aryan’s arrest has left Shah Rukh 'feeling helpless and broken'. The reports also state that King Khan is 'suffering from grief and anger. He is not sleeping and eating much and is just broken like a helpless father.'

Talking about the raid, after getting a tip-off, on October 2nd, the Narcotics Control Bureau boarded the said cruise ship as passengers and conducted a surprise raid.

Post this, the NCB detained a few passengers and after hours of questioning, they arrested Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchantt, Munmun Dhamecha, and five others on October 3rd.
