Tigers reach Dubai

Bangladesh national cricket team reached Dubai on their way to Abu Dhabi on Sunday to feature in two practice games hosted by the ICC respectively against Sri Lanka and Ireland on October 12 and 14.

Following practice games in Abu Dhabi, Tigers will return to Oman to start their ICC WT20 campaign by taking part in the qualifying round.

Tigers need to finish as one of the top two sides from Group B to seal a berth in the super 12s.

Bangladesh will start their campaign against Scotland on October 17 before taking on Oman and PNG on October 19 and 21 respectively.

Bangladesh video analyst Shrinivas Chandrasekaran and Mustafizur Rahman has already entered the team hotel bubble in Abu Dhabi following their IPL stint.

Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan is expected to join the Tigers’ bubble after completing his stint with Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing IPL and he’s likely to miss the practice games in Abu Dhabi.
