Bashundhara Chairman assures KPC Group of coop to invest in Bangladesh

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has assured US-based Bangladeshi businessman Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, the founder of KPC Group of Companies, of cooperation for investing in Bangladesh.

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan came up with the assurance as Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri made a courtesy visit to his Bashundhara residence on Tuesday.

Ahmed Akbar Sobhan welcomed Dr Kali Pradip with a bouquet of flowers on the latter’s arrival at his house.

During the talks, Dr Chaudhuri expressed his desire to invest in Bangladesh.

Mohammad Mahtabur Rahman, Chairman of NRB Bank and Chairman and Managing Director of Al Haramain Perfume Group of Companies; Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, Chairman of Rupayan Group; and Mahir Ali Khan Ratul, Vice-Chairmen of Rupayan Group; among others, were also present on the occasion.

KPC Group is involved in numerous businesses around the world serving diverse industries of healthcare, pharmaceutical, education, real estate, agriculture and engineering.

Dr Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, a physician hailing from Sylhet, has created a strong footprint in business over the years through KPC Group. He also has some 38 hospitals in America.
