Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal finally found his touch in the ongoing Everest Premier League as he struck 40 off 30 balls for his side Bhairahawa Gladiators against Chitwan Tigers at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Nepal on Monday.
Chasing a challenging 165 for the win, Gladiators made a sound start with their openers Tamim Iqbal and Pradeep Airee (72) added 106 runs for their opening stand to laid the platform for an easy six-wicket victory.
Tamim, who scored just 16 and 12 in his previous two innings for Gladiators, played confidently against Tigers this day. He smashed five fours and a six in his 30-ball knock.
With the win, Gladiators climbed to the second spot in the points table of EPL.
