Diti’s film gets clearance 5 years after her death

Bangladesh Film Censor Board has finally given the clearance to Parveen Sultana Diti acted film “A Desh Tomar Amar”, five years after the death of the actress.

Noted film maker FI Manik directed the film.

The film’s actor and Bangladesh Film Artists Association secretary general Zayed Khan confirmed the matter.

Diti lost her battle with brain cancer at United Hospital in the capital on March 20, 2016.

Diti made his film debut in Dhaka in 1984 with the program ‘In search of a new face’. ‘Dak Diye Jai’ directed by Udayan Chowdhury was the first film of her career.

The actress won the Bangladesh National Film Award as the best actress in a supporting role in 1987 for her performance in ‘Shami Stri’.
