2 mango traders killed in Naogaon road crash

Two mango traders were killed and three others injured when two trucks collided head-on in Satihat area under Manda upazila of Naogaon on Saturday morning.

The deceased were identified as Khalil Pramanik, 40, son of late Niyat Ali, hailing from Sultanpur village at Gargari union in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi and Shariful, 35, from Kushtia.

The cement-laden truck collided head-on with another mango-laden truck in the area, leaving the duo dead on the spot and three others injured, said Shahinur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Manda Police Station.

The injured were taken to a hospital, he said.
