Bangamata University VC receives dose of Covid-19 vaccine

Prof Dr Syed Samsuddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University (BSFMSTU), received Covid-19 vaccine at Rajshahi Medical college hospital (RMCH) on Saturday.

RMCH Director Brigediar General Jamilur Rahman and RMC principal Prof. Dr Nawshad Ali were present during the occasion.

After taking the first shot of the vaccine he said, it felt like getting a regular flu or pneumonia vaccine. Each and every one of the country should come forward and participate in the Covid-19 vaccination campaign.

He said the government was proactive in bringing the vaccine and Bangladesh is one of the few countries to manage the shots so early.

Prof Dr Samsuddin, also renowned geologist said as far as he knows the Covid-19 vaccine is safe. He urged people not to be worried about it.
