Dhaka south unit of Bangladesh Awami Swechasebak League on Friday distributed warm clothes among cold-hit people in the capital.

The unit President Kamrul Hasan Ripon handed over the blankets to around 500 cold-hit families through a ceremony held at Borobangha of Demra under ward no-66 of Dhaka South City Corporation, said a press release

Earlier on January 25, the Dhaka South Unit Swechasebak League also distributed 700 blankets among the people at Nazira Bazar area in Bangshal under the ward no-34 of Dhaka South City Corporation.

Kamrul Hasan Ripon said, “I always want to stand by the general people and want to do something for the people.”
