Professor Mostaq Ahmed, Liberation War organiser and Language movement hero, died at a hospital in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday night. He was 85.
Mostaq Ahmed, who was a founding principal of Ramu College in Cox's Bazar, breathed his last at Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital around 11:30 am while undergoing treatment.
The language hero was born on January 8,1940 at Mandalpara village of Fatehkharkul union of Ramu upazila.He got involved with the Language Movement in 1952.
