Former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza came back to the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday after eight months.
He also did a bit of training there, says media report.Mashrafe, now 37 years old is recovering from a hamstring injury, spent some time running before he bowled a limited overs at the BCB Academy Ground.
The former captain was accompanied by BCB’s physiotherapist Tushar kanti Hawlader, who assessed Mashrafe’s fitness.
"He worked on his own fitness after recovering from Covid-19. He wants to get in shape by shedding weight and I'm helping him in this connection,” said Hawlader.
Mashrafe was seen last playing an international match against Zimbabwe in March this year before his announcement of quitting ODI captaincy.
