Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni enunciated the importance of girl guides for developing the mental and physical skills of girls and said she will always stay beside Bangladesh Girl Guides Association (BGGA).
She was speaking as chief guest at a function on the occasion of `World Thinking Day’ at the central office of the BGGA at Baily Road in the capital, an official press release said.This year, the theme of the day is ‘Living Threads. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’.
The minister assured the guides that she would cooperate them in the best possible way.
Technical and Madrasah Education Division Secretary Munshi Shahabuddin Ahmed attended the programme as special guest while National Commissioner of Bangladesh Girl Guides Association Kazi Zebunessa Begum was in the chair.
