The students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) continued demonstration for the ninth consecutive day on Friday, demanding clearance of opening History department.

In the morning, they took position in front of academic building on the campus and staged protests seeking authorisation of the History department.

The students made the campus abuzz with slogans and wore black badges to press home their demand.

They also boycotted all classes and lab examinations as part of their movement.
