Jubo League celebrating 47th founding anniversary

Jubo League, youth wing of ruling Awami League, is celebrating its 47th founding anniversary in a befitting manner on Sunday (Nov 11).

The organisation is getting its new committee on November 23.

Bangladesh Awami Jubo League is the first youth organization of Bangladesh founded by Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni at the directive of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman through a youth convention at Institution of Engineers on November 11, 1972.

The organization has chalked out different programmes to mark the anniversary which include hoisting of national and party flags at its central office at 6.30am, paying tributes to Bangabandhu by placing floral wreaths at his portrait at Dhanmondi 32 at 8:30 am and paying homage to martyred Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani and martyrs of August 15, 1975 at the Banani graveyard at 8.30 am and offering of fateha.

Apart from central programme, district and upazila units of Jubo League have chalked out separate programmes.
