Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrim killed in Saudi Arabia road crash

A Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrim was killed and several others were injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.
Confirming the news, Fakhrul Islam, first secretary (press) to the Bangladesh embassy said the incident took place some 100 km away from Madinah in Wadi al-Fara around 11 am local time as one of the tyres of the bus burst. There were 35 passengers on board.
The Bangladeshi pilgrims were travelling to Madinah to visit the grave of Prophet Muhammad after completing the Hajj rituals, he said.
The injured people, some of them in critical condition, were undergoing treatment in various hospitals there.
