Two nursing students killed in Moulvibazar train mishap

At least seven people, including two students of Sylhet Nursing College, were killed and more than 250 others injured as a Dhaka bound ‘Upaban Express’ derailed on a bridge at Kulaura in Moulvibazar late last night.

Four of the deceased were identified as Monoara Parvin, 45, wife of AL leader of Kulaura Abdul Bari of Kazipur Union in Gupta Village, Kawser, 26, son of Nur Hossen, a resident of Bahubal in Habiganj, Fahmida Yesmin Eva, 20, daughter of Abdul Bari, hailing from Abdullahpur village in Dakkhin Surma of Sylhet and Sanjida, 20.

Among the deceased, Fahmida Yesmin Eva and Sanjida were students of Sylhet Nursing College. They were going to Dhaka to take part in a training session.
