BSF DG terms border killing as ‘unexpected death’

Indian BSF Director General Rajni Kant Mishra has expressed his concern over the death of Bangladeshi men shot by Border Security Force (BSF).

He, however, termed it ‘unexpected death’ instead of killing incident.

At a press conference of BGB-BSF DG-level conference at Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) headquarters at Pilkhna in Dhaka, Rajni Kant Mishra stressed finding out the cause of ‘unexpected death’ on the border.

The 48th BGB-BSF DG-level conference started on June 12 in the capital.

A Bangladesh delegation comprising 19 members headed by BGB Director General Major General Md Shafinul Islam and a 10-member delegation of India led by Rajni Kant Mishra are taking part in the conference.

The conference will end on Saturday (today).
