Nusrat is getting married in Turkey

Actress Nusrat Jahan who surprised many with a comprehensive win in the Lok Sabha elections from a tough seat like Basirhat, is ready for the next big phase in her life. She is all set to get married to Kolkata based businessman Nikhil Jain.  The wedding will be take place between June 19-21.

While for a long time there were rumours about who Nusrat Jahan is dating, the actress confirmed about her relationship on Instagram few weeks ago. And, now in a fast forward mode, she is also getting married to Jain, in Bodrum.

Interestingly, Nusrat and Nikhil met only late last year during Durga Puja when the actress was shooting for a saree ad. But as fate has it, now the two love birds are looking for a life of togetherness after few months of being in a relationship.

While destination weddings are common in Bollywood with likes of Ranveer-Deepika, Virat-Anushka opting for it, it is relatively rare in the Bengali film industry. Infact this is the first Tollywood celeb wedding happening so far away in Turkey.

The wedding ceremony will be taking place from 19-21 June. On 16th, Nusrat and her family will be flying to Turkey. On 17th, there is a pre-wedding ceremony. The Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony will be held on May 18th in Bohemian theme.

On 19th the main weeding ceremony will take place. And “White Weeding Formal” ceremony will be on 20th at Eden Imperial in Palm Avenue in Budrum city of Turkey.

Already Nusrat's house in Kolkata has been decked up with lights to celebrate the upcoming marriage.

According to reports, Nusrat's best friend and fellow Trinomul Congress MP Mimi Chakraborty is likely to attend all the major wedding rituals although the Parliament will be on session at that time.

Many other Tollywood stars have also been called for the wedding, though the list of who all will travel all the way to Turkey is still not out.

Nusrat will be returning to India before June 25 to attend the first session of the Lok Sabha as a parliamentarian.

It is likely that Nusrat and Nikhil Jain will also be hosting a reception party on July 4 in a five star hotel in Kolkata after coming back from Delhi.
