Shah Rukh Khan on why he took son AbRam to polling booth

Expect Shah Rukh Khan to give a witty twist to something as serious as Lok Sabha elections. Sharing a picture of himself with wife Gauri Khan and their your son AbRam on their way to the polling station, he wrote that he got his son along to show him the difference between “boating” and “voting” as AbRam seems to be confused between the two words.

He wrote: “Little one was a bit confused between ‘Boating’ and Voting, so took him along to experience the difference.”

Shah Rukh’s wit was again in display in another of his recent posts. He shared a video clip of him sipping a cup of coffee with his picture printed on it. Sharing it, he wrote that he does not need sugar in his coffee as he had just ‘licked’ himself! He wrote: “Coffee with Kalyan jewellers in Dubai. No sugar in my coffee please...I’ll just lick myself....”

Shah Rukh hasn’t been in the happiest of spaces since his film Zero flopped. The actor has made it clear that he isn’t doing any films for the next couple of months. Speaking to CRI Hindi in China, he said: “This time, I didn’t feel like doing it. I thought, this time, I will take out time to watch films and listen to scripts and read books. My kids are also finishing their college life. Suhana is still in college, Aryan will hopefully pass his college in a year. I want to spend more time with my family.”

He continued, “I said somewhere that I might decide in June about my next project. But I won’t even do it in June, I will only do a film when I feel like doing it from my heart. I only act when it comes from my heart, but this time I don’t feel like doing it. A lot of people are telling me stories, I’ve heard 15-20 stories, I liked 2-3 of them. But I haven’t decided yet which film to do. Because the moment I take a decision, I will have to start working on films.” The next time, he wants to pick a less risky project, he added, reports HT.
