Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received a threat call, Mumbai police said on Thursday.

The threat to Shah Rukh follows a series of threats issued to actor Salman Khan.

A case has been registered by the Bandra police against an unnamed caller who threatened Shah Rukh Khan, an official said.

Earlier, Salman received a series of death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang threatening to kill him if he did not apologize for the killing black bucks in Rajasthan.

Salman received a similar death threat from an unidentified person on 30 October who had demanded a Rs2 crore ransom from him. The superstar’s security has been increased since politician Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son’s office in Mumbai last month.
