JCI holds leadership conclave in city


Junior Chambers International (JCI) Bangladesh hosted its leadership conclave, one of its most prestigious events, at Hotel Le Meridien, Dhaka, recently.

The conclave titled “JCI Bangladesh Leadership Conclave 2019 ‐ Together Towards Tomorrow”, was attended by diplomats, government officials, business leaders, leading entrepreneurs and young professionals.

The event aims to bring young professionals in a common platform to connect them with people from different walks of the society, empower them to discover their voice and realize their ability to make a positive contribution to the society.


 Salman F Rahman, the Private Industry and Investment Advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Division and Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Senior Vice President of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) were present as the special guests at the event. Arman A Khan, 2019 National Vice President and Chair of the Organizing Committee, JCI Bangladesh delivered the opening remarks, while Irfan Islam, 2019 National President of JCI Bangladesh, delivered welcome speech at the event.


JCI is a non government and non profit global organization of young active citizens from age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. It is active in more than 120 countries across the world. JCI Bangladesh currently has 14 local chapters with over 800 members.
