VP-elect Nur’s oath taking not decided yet

Nurul Haque Nur, newly elected DUCSU Vice President, fell ill on Tuesday evening after reiterating their demand of re-election in all DUCSU posts, GS candidate Rashed Khan told.

Rashed Khan, general secretary candidate of Sadharan Chhatra Odhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad panel, came up with this statement, while speaking to the journalists at Teacher-Student Center (TSC) at Tuesday night.

“Nurul Haque was a little bit ill. Journalists have been asking him questions time to time all the day. He couldn’t reply all the questions thoroughly as he was mentally shocked and physically harassed,” he said.

Quota reform leader Rashed Khan also told that they did not make any decision about taking the oath of their winning candidates.

“We will let you know about the oath after we come to a decision,’ Rashed Khan told.

“We were assaulted by the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men”, Rashed alleged adding, and “We demand justice. We have conveyed this to the BCL president and he assured us about taking proper action against the accused.”
