Leader Dhaka Dynamites won the toss and elected to bat first against Chittagong Vikings in their seventh match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday evening.
In the previous six matches of the ongoing BPL, Dhaka won five and on the other hand, Chittagong Vikings played five matches and won four of them.
Dhaka achieved most of their initial success with the help of the superb performance of Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Zazai. He hit two fifties in consecutive two matches, but he failed upwards with having scored 1, 4 and 6 in three matches in succession.
In the last match against Sylhet Sixers, Dhaka won by six wickets and Chittagong Vikings overpowered Khulna Titans in their last game.
