The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has served a showcase notice to its 64 leaders at local level who are vying in the first phase of the upcoming upazila election violating the party decision.

The opposition party has also informed that these leaders will be expelled from the party if they are unable to give proper reply of the show-cause notice within the stipulated time, the party sources said.
