Indira Gandhi Culture Centre (IGCC) will host an evening of Hindustani classical music by eminent classical vocalist of Bangladesh Anil Kumar Saha in the city on Saturday.
The event will be held at Sufia Kamal auditorium, Bangladesh National Museum at 6pm. Entry is open to all, a press release said.
Anil Kumar Saha learnt Hindustani classical music in India under Ustad A Daud Khan, one of the greatest vocalists of Kirana Gharana.
Saha completed his Sangeet Vibhakar (B Music) and Sangeet Ratna (M Music) degrees from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, Kolkata, which is affiliated to Rabindra Bharati University.
On invitation from Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), government of India, he performed in Delhi, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh in October, 2014.
