The 91st (2026 Spring) China Motorcycle Parts Fair was successfully held on 10-12 May at the Fuzhou Strait International Conference and Exhibition Center, bringing together leading motorcycle manufacturers, parts suppliers, and international buyers from around the world.

Held on the occasion of the 10th China Brand Day, the event highlights China’s growing role in the global motorcycle and mobility industry.

This fair is jointly organised by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd., and China Automotive Industrial Parts Sales Co., Ltd. The exhibition is themed “Maritime Silk Road Gateway, Cross-Strait Collaboration, Connecting the World”.

Leveraging Fuzhou’s strategic location as a key hub of the Maritime Silk Road and the West Coast Economic Zone, the exhibition aims to promote international cooperation and high-quality development in the motorcycle parts industry.

The opening ceremony was attended by senior industry and government representatives, including Sun Runhai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Sinomach International Corporation and Chairman of Sinomach Parts & Accessories Co., Ltd.; Huang Wumin, Second-Level Researcher of the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce; Zhao Chuang, President of the National Convention and Exhibition Working Committee; and Ye Yongxiang, President of the Guangzhou Motorcycle Parts Industry Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s spring exhibition has reached a new scale, covering more than 60,000 square meters and featuring over 1,500 exhibitors from China, including manufacturers of motorcycles, parts, and accessories. At the fair, more than 50,000 professional visitors from China and over 80 countries and regions attended, making it one of the largest and most influential motorcycle industry trade fairs in Asia.

The exhibition focuses heavily on new-energy two-wheel transportation and intelligent mobility solutions. Exhibits include high-performance motorcycle chains, electric control systems, suspension components, smart anti-theft devices, portable charging equipment, and connected vehicle technologies. Smart electric motorcycles and intelligent riding technologies have become major attractions at the venue.

Several leading enterprises are showcasing cutting-edge products and innovations. Qingdao Choho Industrial Co., Ltd., a key supplier to Zhang Xue Motorcycles, presented high-performance racing and civilian motorcycle chains made from advanced alloy materials and precision manufacturing technologies. These products emphasize lightweight construction, durability, and enhanced riding performance.

In the battery and electronic control sector, Fujian Minhua Power Source Co., Ltd. introduced a new generation of environmentally friendly cadmium-free motorcycle batteries, high-power energy batteries, and long-life storage systems. The company’s latest products are designed for both fuel-powered motorcycles and intelligent electric motorcycles, offering longer endurance, faster charging, and improved stability.

The exhibition also highlights advancements in lightweight chassis systems, including carbon-fiber integrated frames, aluminum alloy components, suspension assemblies, braking systems, and high-performance tires. Many companies are focusing on structural optimization and material innovation to improve vehicle stability, handling, and energy efficiency.

Meanwhile, motorcycle body accessories and protective products are also drawing significant attention. Ergonomic seats, advanced lighting systems, luggage racks, windscreens, and protective crash bars demonstrate the growing consumer demand for both functionality and personalized motorcycle aesthetics.

To enhance visitor engagement, the organizers have arranged several themed activities during the three-day event, including electric motorcycle test rides and safe-riding experience programs. Visitors can personally experience the performance, smart configurations, and endurance capabilities of new-energy motorcycles while also learning about road safety and responsible riding practices.

The exhibition is also serving as a major platform for international business cooperation. Organizers have arranged special matchmaking events for overseas buyers from more than 20 countries, including Mexico, Russia, Canada, India, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, and Uzbekistan. These initiatives aim to help Chinese enterprises expand into overseas markets and strengthen cross-border trade partnerships.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Sun Runhai emphasized the organizers’ commitment to “serving the industry and empowering enterprises". He said the exhibition would continue to strengthen Fuzhou’s role as an international trade gateway and support Chinese motorcycle parts enterprises in moving further up the global value chain.

The exhibition is also serving as a major platform for international business cooperation. Organizers have arranged special matchmaking events for overseas buyers from more than 20 countries, including Bangladesh, Mexico, Russia, Canada, Pakistan, India, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Uzbekistan, and African countries. These initiatives aim to help Chinese enterprises expand into overseas markets and strengthen cross-border trade partnerships.

Istiak Saba, an importer of motorcycle parts, traveled from Dhaka to explore business opportunities at the expo. Sharing his experience, he said, “This is my first time attending the National Motorcycle Parts Expo in Fuzhou, and I am truly impressed by the scale and organization. China has always been a reliable sourcing hub for our industry in Bangladesh, but seeing the latest technologies in electric vehicle components, smart charging systems, and lightweight alloys up close is a game-changer. We are particularly interested in sourcing high-performance chains and battery systems, as the demand for affordable yet durable electric motorcycles is rising rapidly in our local market.”

Shakil Khan, who runs an export and import company in China, said, “The motorcycle market in Bangladesh is evolving fast, especially after the government’s recent policy encouraging local assembly and manufacturing. Chinese suppliers are far ahead in terms of innovation, quality, and pricing. What excites me most is the focus on new-energy mobility here — from smart battery management systems to energy-efficient motors. We are actively looking to bring these technologies back to Bangladesh, where fuel prices and environmental concerns are pushing riders toward electric alternatives. This expo is not just a trade fair; it is a window into the future of our industry, and I am leaving with actionable business leads and valuable industry insights.”

China’s motorcycle industry demonstrated robust growth, with overall production and sales rising, alongside a significant increase in demand for mid- to high-end products. This rapid growth in early 2026 confirms the continued expansion of Chinese motorcycle manufacturers into global markets, with high-growth areas extending to Europe, Africa, and Latin America.

According to customs data analysis, from January to March 2026, China's total motorcycle exports reached 4.6268 million units, up 13.49% year-on-year, with an export value of 3.014 billion US dollars, up 16.93% year-on-year. Latin America was the largest export destination, with an export volume of 1.4812 million units, an 8.47% year-on-year decrease, and an export value of 963 million US dollars, down 0.99% year-on-year. Africa saw the largest increase in exports, with a volume of 1.753 million units, a year-on-year increase of 44.95%; and an export value of 949 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 48.01%.

The exhibition has also attracted extensive media attention. More than 50 mainstream media outlets and digital platforms are covering the event through news reports, livestreaming, and social media campaigns. Organizers announced that the 92nd (2026 Autumn) National Motorcycle and Parts Fair will be held from 10 to 12 November at the Poly World Trade Expo Center in Guangzhou.
