Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), located in North Patenga, Chattogram, was established in 2006 and is managed by the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA). The zone is an important export-oriented industrial hub, with industries producing garments, leather goods, footwear, bicycles, furniture and other products.
