A resident harvests Okra pods from a crop on a communal patch of land where villagers from Milore village have taken advantage to grow food crops due to its proximity to a nearby dam in Kilifi County on 9 April, 2025. GiveDirectly believes charities and NGOs should stop handing out so much stuff, like food or school books, and start just sending people cash.
