A 5,000-year-old loaf of bread was discovered in September 2024 by archaeologists in Eskisehir province, central Turkey. Since 22 May, the municipality has been reproducing it using the original recipe and plans to revive the cultivation of ancient wheat, which is better suited to drought. - PHOTO: AFP
