MQA chief pays courtesy call on DU VC

Malaysian Qualifications Agency CEO Prof Mohammad Shatar bin Sabran paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof ABM Obaidul Islam at his office on Tuesday. MQA Training Centre Director Abdul Saman bin Taip accompanied him during the visit.

Bangladesh Accreditation Council Chairman Prof Md Akhter Hossain Khan also attended the meeting.

During the discussion, the academics stressed the need to strengthen academic and research collaboration between Dhaka University and various Malaysian universities.

They also explored possibilities for joint collaborative programmes between Bangladesh and Malaysia to boost higher education and research.
