JnU Career Club launches inter-university case competition

Jagannath University Career Club (JnUCC) has launched an inter-university case competition, ‘Dacoit of Excellence 3.0’, aimed at enhancing students’ career awareness, strategic thinking and case-solving skills.

University Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Rais Uddin, as the chief guest, formally inaugurated the event on Monday at the conference room of the university.

In his remarks, Prof Rais Uddin said ‘Dacoit of Excellence’ provides students with an opportunity to combine strategy, creativity and sharp decision-making skills to tackle real-life challenges.

“Students have to constantly apply their minds at different stages of case-solving, which helps them learn how to deal with real-world challenges,” he said.

Highlighting the objectives of the competition, JnUCC General Secretary Rabbani Rashha Ratul said the initiative was not merely a competition but an effort to showcase Jagannath University and the heritage of Old Dhaka across the country.

“We want to bring the country’s best people to our campus for a day and showcase the university and the heritage of Old Dhaka. ‘Dacoit of Excellence 3.0’ is a small effort to present Jagannath University to everyone once again,” he said.

JnUCC Moderator Md Shafiqul Islam, President AKM Tamim Rahman and other club members were also present.
