A delegation from the Russian House in Dhaka, together with representatives of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), paid an official visit to North South University (NSU) in the capital on Wednesday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for expanding academic and cultural cooperation, read a press release.

The parties reached an agreement to explore the establishment of a Center for Russian Studies at North South University, which would serve as a platform for promoting the Russian language, culture, and educational opportunities in Russia among Bangladeshi students.

In addition, the participants initiated work on the draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) between RUDN University and North South University, which will formalize cooperation in academic exchange, joint research, and educational programmes.
