England international all-rounder Liam Livingstone will move to Chennai Super Kings from Sunrisers Hyderabad in a four-player IPL trade deal, the cricket board said Thursday.
Livingstone joins five-time champions Chennai at a reduced fee of $635,485, having originally been bought by Hyderabad for $1.38 million, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Australia's Jack Edwards also joins Chennai after he was signed by Hyderabad for the 2026 edition but was ruled out of the season with a foot injury.
Edwards was traded at his existing fee of $317,801.
Australia fast bowler Nathan Ellis and India's Khaleel Ahmed join Hyderabad, both on their existing fees, in the deal between the two teams.
The auction for IPL 2027 has been scheduled for 16 December in Goa with 17 November the deadline for teams to finalise their retention list and released players.
