ABG University Cup 2026 builds excitement at NSU, AIUB

The programme featured sports competitions, fan jersey distribution and interactive activities aimed at boosting enthusiasm for university-level sports.
The day's first session began at NSU at noon, followed by the second at AIUB at 4pm.
Two sports competitions were organised to encourage direct student participation. NSU hosted a ball-juggling contest, where participants demonstrated their skills, while AIUB staged a Digi Penalty Challenge, offering students a different sporting experience.
The winners of the two competitions each received Tk5,000, bringing the total prize money distributed to Tk10,000.
Fan jerseys for ABG University Cup 2026 were also distributed to build excitement for the upcoming tournament. The activities, including conversations with students and sports-based engagements, created a festive atmosphere on both campuses.
Students expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming competition. The initiative is expected to encourage greater participation in sports and strengthen communication, goodwill and camaraderie among students from different universities.
The campus activation programme aims to increase students’ interest in sports, ensure active participation and enrich sporting culture at university level. It also seeks to strengthen team identity, university pride and enthusiasm for sports ahead of ABG University Cup 2026.
Following the events at NSU and AIUB, the campus activation programme will continue at other universities participating in the tournament. The organisers hope the activities will engage more students and create a festive atmosphere across university campuses.
