Bangladesh midfielder Shamit Shome has arrived in Jakarta to link up with the national team ahead of their maiden FIFA ASEAN Cup campaign, which begins with a clash against Malaysia on Friday.
His arrival adds valuable experience to the squad as Bangladesh move closer to having their full contingent available for the tournament.
Head coach Thomas Dooley will now be able to work with his strongest squad yet, with the arrivals of the other two overseas-based players, Hamza Choudhury and Farhaan Ali Wahid, completing the team.
Bangladesh will compete in Division 1, with all three of their group-stage matches scheduled to take place in Jakarta.
They will begin their campaign against Malaysia on 25 September before taking on Singapore three days later (28 September). Their final group fixture will be against hosts Indonesia on 1 October.
