ICC bans India-born USA spinner Reddy for eight years

USA offbreak B Akhilesh Reddy has been banned from all cricket for eight years after the ICC found him guilty of three breaches of its Anti-Corruption Code linked to the 2025-26 Abu Dhabi T10 League.

The 26-year-old was convicted of attempting to influence matches, encouraging another participant to engage in corrupt conduct and obstructing the investigation by deleting potentially relevant data from his mobile phone.

The ban has been backdated to 21 November 2025, when he was provisionally suspended. Reddy, who made his USA debut in April 2025, has played four T20 Internationals for the national side.
