Liverpool's influence turned Nannu into England supporter

For many football supporters, club loyalties and international allegiances do not always go hand in hand.

For Bangladesh Cricket Board director Minhajul Abedin Nannu, however, one naturally led to the other.

Nannu revealed that his lifelong love for Liverpool eventually shaped his support for England on the international stage, creating a connection that has lasted for decades.

"Out of my love for Liverpool, I eventually became a supporter of England," Nannu said.

The former Bangladesh captain said that his passion for the Premier League giants remains as strong as ever, regardless of the challenges posed by time differences in Bangladesh.

"I still watch Liverpool's matches, no matter how late it is in Bangladesh time, I never miss any match of Liverpool. I watch it sitting right in front of the TV," he concluded.
