The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Tuesday, a revision to the final-round schedule of the Walton Smart Fridge Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2025–26 season, powered by Bashundhara Cement.
The change was made under special consideration, with the final round set to play a decisive role in determining the league standings.
The original fixtures were scheduled for 11 June.
However, that date coincides with the second One Day International between Bangladesh and Australia.
Holding league matches on the same day would likely have reduced audience reach and overall exposure.
The final round has therefore been rescheduled to 12 June, with 13 June designated as the reserve day.
Ahead of the decisive fixtures, the top three teams are Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Abahani Ltd and Prime Bank Cricket Club (all on 16 points).
This adjustment is expected to deliver greater visibility and stronger engagement for teams, sponsors, broadcasters and supporters.
