It was a day of high-octane cricket across the capital as five matches of the Walton Smart Fridge Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2025-26, powered by Bashundhara Cement, produced scintillating hundreds, record chases, and nail-biting finishes.

At Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) ground three, Agrani Bank Cricket Club completed a monumental 327-run chase to defeat City Club by five wickets with just two balls to spare.

Abdullah Al Mamun’s spectacular 151 off 145 balls for City Club went in vain as Agrani Bank's Mahfijul Islam Robin fired back with a masterclass 147 off 141 balls, well-complemented by Shadman Islam’s 78.

Meanwhile, Prime Bank Cricket Club posted the day’s highest total of 369/5 at Pubergaon Krira Shikkha Protishthan 2, powered by Tanzid Hasan Tamim’s explosive 119 and Shahadat Hossain Dipu’s 105.

Opponents Brothers Union were left stranded at 86/5 after 21 overs, handing Prime Bank a commanding 155-run victory via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method, orchestrated by Aliss Al Islam's clinical 3 for 15.

At the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited dismantled Legends of Rupganj by 107 runs.

Skipper Towhid Hridoy led from the front with a fine 101, alongside half-centuries from Anamul Haque Bijoy (71) and Afif Hossain Dhrubo (70), setting up a massive 339/5.

Nahid Rana’s fiery four-wicket haul wrapped up Rupganj for 232.

Abahani Ltd enjoyed an equally dominant outing at BKSP-G4, routing Gulshan Cricket Club by 173 runs.

Mahidul Islam Ankon anchored the innings with an unbeaten 102 to post 315/5, before Naimur Rahman Noyon’s 3 for 42 bundled Gulshan out for 142.

The only low-scoring thriller unfolded at the Bashundhara Sports Complex, where Gazi Group Cricketers scraped past Dhaka Leopards by just one wicket.

Rubel’s sensational 6 for 23 restricted the Leopards to 153.

In response, despite Moin Khan’s valiant five-wicket haul, Shovon Moroll’s crucial 63 guided Gazi Group across the line in a tense finale.
