“Probably this week we’ll settle Noakhali as well. That will make four done. It’ll be completed. I’ve already signed it. The money has to be returned,” Mithu said to Daily Sun.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Director and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Governing Council Member Secretary Iftekhar Rahman Mithu told Daily Sun on Tuesday that Chattogram Royals' issue has already been resolved, while Noakhali Express are next in line, and Dhaka Capitals asked for one more week.
“Probably this week we’ll settle Noakhali as well. That will make four done. It’ll be completed. I’ve already signed it. The money has to be returned,” Mithu said firmly.
However, the BCB Director mentioned that Dhaka has sought additional time.
“Dhaka wanted seven more days. So we gave seven days. After that, we will send another letter. Otherwise, there is a Tk5 crore bank guarantee, we will encash that,” he warned.
He also stressed that the BCB has multiple financial safeguards in place.
“We have said repeatedly that there are financial instruments,” he added.
