U-19 Tigers seek crucial point to secure Super Six spot

Bangladesh Under-19s head into a decisive final Group B clash knowing even a washout could be enough to keep their World Cup campaign alive.

The young Tigers face the United States of America U-19s on Friday, with qualification hinging on the outcome after their previous two fixtures were marred by rain.

Bangladesh sit third in the group with one point from two matches, having lost their opener before sharing points once due to weather interruption.

A draw or no result will see Bangladesh progress, but defeat would end their hopes of advancing from the group stage.

The high-pressure encounter will be played at the Takashinga Sports Club in Highfield, Harare.

The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30pm BST on Friday, 23 January, with the young Tigers aiming to keep their title aspirations alive under mounting stakes.
