A debut rarely gets more emotional — or more emphatic. Hassan Eisakhil announced himself on the Bashundhara Cement Bangladesh Premier League stage with a magnificent 92, sharing a defining fourth-wicket stand with his father Mohammad Nabi as Noakhali posted a commanding 184 for seven against Dhaka Capitals.

The moment was steeped in sentiment before a ball was bowled. Eisakhil received his debut cap from Nabi, then walked out to produce an innings of power, poise and maturity far beyond his years.

Opening the batting, the Noakhali player set the tone with crisp strokeplay and fearless intent. He dominated the Powerplay and controlled the middle overs, hammering 92 off 60 balls in a knock laced with authority.

At the other end, Soumya Sarkar provided explosive support, blasting 48 off just 25 deliveries to ensure Noakhali never lost momentum after opting to bat first.

The evening reached its peak when Nabi joined his son at the crease. The father–son duo stitched together a 53-run fourth-wicket partnership from 30 balls.

While Eisakhil supplied the flair, Nabi offered calm assurance, guiding the innings and ensuring the total kept climbing.

Dhaka Capitals fought back through Mohammad Saifuddin, Taijul Islam and Abdullah Al Mamun, each claiming two wickets, but the damage had already been done.

Noakhali closed on 184 for seven, setting Dhaka a stiff target of 185.

With only one win in the bag, Noakhali will sense a golden opportunity to register their second victory — inspired by a night when cricket became a family story.
