Nasum rips through Noakhali with BPL-record spell

Nasum Ahmed delivered a spell for the ages, ripping through Noakhali Express with astonishing figures of 5 for 7 in the Bashundhara Cement Bangladesh Premier League.

The left-arm spinner conceded just seven runs from his full quota of four overs, bowling 20 dot balls to leave Noakhali completely strangled.

It was the best bowling figures by a spinner in the history of the BPL, underlining a performance that stunned players and spectators alike.

Noakhali Express never recovered from Nasum’s relentless accuracy and sharp turn, collapsing to a paltry 61 all out.

The spell could not have come at a better time, as Nasum has been named in Bangladesh’s squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

With form like this, the selectors’ faith appears fully justified.
