The second day of the final round of the 27th National Cricket League (Four Day) 2025–26 unfolded with decisive shifts across all four venues, highlighted by Dhaka’s commanding performance in Mirpur.

At the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka declared their innings at a towering 541/6, extending their dominance from Day 1. Openers Ashikur Rahman Shibli, unbeaten on 100 off 201 balls, and Anisul Islam, who struck a superb 186 off 238, set the platform with a massive stand. Marshall Ayub continued the charge with a fluent 165 off 232, allowing Dhaka to declare deep into the second session. Chattogram, however, spiralled quickly in reply, collapsing to 94/6 in 23.3 overs. Only Irfan Shukkur showed resistance, scoring 43 off 37, as Dhaka tightened their grip on the contest.

At the Rajshahi Division Cricket Ground, Barishal’s first-innings 312 remained the benchmark as Sylhet reached 214/5 at stumps. Opener Zakir Hasan led the response with an unbeaten 130 off 184 balls, keeping Sylhet in contention while they trail by 98 runs.

Over in Sylhet, Rajshahi strengthened their hold against Mymensingh. After dismissing Mymensingh for 137, Rajshahi reached 210/6 in their second innings, stretching their overall lead to 292. Md Rahim Ahmed (47*) and Shakhir Hossain Shuvro (30*) will look to extend the advantage on Day 3.

At Bogura, Rangpur’s 174 was anchored by Alauddin Babu’s 44, but Khulna hit back strongly through Sofor Ali’s five-wicket haul. Rangpur responded well with the ball, leaving Khulna struggling at 41/5, as Islam Mukidul Mugdho took two wickets to keep the contest alive.
