The Bangladesh national team’s batters will undergo a special white-ball training at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur starting 6 December, which will continue until 13 December.

The sessions will be led by head coach Phil Simmons, who will personally work with the players on their batting skills, BCB sources confirmed.

Following Bangladesh’s series against Ireland, the rest of the coaching staff went on leave. However, Simmons has remained behind to conduct the camp and will continue to work with the players until 15 December, after which he will also go on leave.

The camp is expected to provide the batters with focused preparation ahead of the upcoming T20 world cup in February.
