The Anvir Bashundhara Group (ABG) University Cup 2026 brought sporting excitement to BRAC University and Sonargaon University on Saturday as its campus activation programme entered its fourth day, drawing enthusiastic participation from students.
Launched by ABG chairman Sayem Sobhan Anvir, the initiative featured interactive challenges, friendly competition and cash prizes, building excitement around the upcoming tournament.
The day’s activities began at BRAC University at 11:00am with the ‘Hit the Stumps’ challenge, in which students tested their accuracy by trying to hit the stumps with a football. The winner walked away with Tk5,000.
The activation team then moved to Sonargaon University at 2:00pm for the ‘Ball Balance’ challenge, which tested participants’ balance, concentration and control. The winner there also received Tk5,000.
Students taking part in the activities received ABG University Cup 2026 jerseys, adding to the tournament buzz across both campuses.
The programme gave students an opportunity to showcase their skills, compete in a friendly atmosphere and build camaraderie through sport.
The campus activations form part of the organisers’ broader effort to engage university students, promote participation in sports and build momentum ahead of the ABG University Cup 2026.
